Skills Required:
· The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge in preparation of construction documents and structural calculations for various building types and materials (residential, commercial and industrial).
· High proficiency with AutoCAD (V 2024 or higher).
· High proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
· High proficiency with structural engineering software (RISA 3D, Enercalc).
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
· Exceptional leadership qualities and strong work ethic.
Education / Experience Requirements:
· B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a licensed California PE.
Description:
· The engineer will report directly to the Principal Engineer and Architect. This position will be responsible for the oversight of two or more staff assisting with the production of structural calculations and construction documents.
· The engineer will be the team lead responsible for developing the construction documents and structural calculations under the supervision of the Principal Engineer and Architect.
· The engineer will meet with clients with or without the Architect or Engineer to receive input and present progress at various phases.
· The engineer will be the contact for the subconsultants and permitting agencies throughout the course of the project.
Compensation / Benefits:
· Compensation is commensurate with skill level and will be determined during the hiring process, ranging from $100-140K annual.
