Job SummaryReporting to the Project Manager, the Site Acquisition and Zoning Specialist will perform daily Site Acquisition duties, related to zoning and permitting, in accordance with Company objectives. Must have telecommunications experience. Hiring in the state of New Mexico state only at this time.

Responsibilities
What You Will Do
- Provide qualification and zoning and permitting activities for wireless telecommunication sites
- Prepare, submit and present permit applications for wireless telecommunication sites
- Demonstrated understanding of real estate acquisition and zoning and permitting principles, experience in the wireless telecom industry preferred
- Experience in filing zoning applications and making presentations at zoning hearings.
- Experience reading, interpreting zoning codes and regulations.
- Research and document zoning, permit requirements for the city, agency, or customer for whom the work is being performed
- Act as a subject matter expert for permit requirements both internally and externally; understanding of permit application process and workflow
- Work with project managers to ensure progress is tracked and permit information is updated in internal and external systems; interface and upload files in databases
- Perform intake for new service requests; receive, process, and catalog pertinent information in time reporting and project management software

Qualifications
What You Will Need
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- 2 years’ experience working with Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- 2 years’ experience working in site acquisition within the wireless industry
- 2-3 years’ experience in wireless telecom industry, preferably in zoning and permitting processes
- Demonstrated understanding of zoning and permitting for telecom work; permitting experience in the wireless telecom industry preferred.
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage own workload and deliverables with minimal supervision under strict timelines
- Ability to work irregular hours, including occasional evening and weekend work, when necessary
