- Lead the development of strategy and customer-facing documents: presentations, summaries, and deliverables for the Company’s executive leadership
- Develop and provide supporting analysis (business analytics, market fundamentals, etc.) for presentations to upper management and external stakeholders
- Develop financial models for evaluating strategic opportunities and customer solutions
- Review financial models for accuracy and integrity (appropriate inputs, necessary assumptions, inclusion of alternatives/options, and achievability of savings)
- Provide management with market intelligence on emerging EV trends, technologies, peer actions, and regulatory constructs and outcomes
- Conduct ongoing research on industry actions, as related to electrification
- Provide support on decisions to be made by Company leadership; develop recommendations and associated business cases
- Partner with regulatory team to provide analysis and support on impacts resulting from proposed strategic projects and customer-focused solutions
- Attend industry meetings and conferences as applicable to remain current with industry fundamentals, practices and trends
- Support execution of strategic projects and partner with appropriate business units, in particular with electric operations
- Monitor, track, and report on strategic projects
- Participate in recruiting activities to maintain a high-quality utility strategy organization
- Requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, and an MBA is appreciated, but not required.
- Requires a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a related field. Candidates should have strong analytical backgrounds with robust communication skills. Candidates should also have an understanding of the electrification and/or utility sector. Prior industry experience and / or advisory/consulting experience in the utility/energy sector strongly preferred.
