- Evaluate and analyze billing exception transactions to determine and execute resolutions.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing issues.
- Participate in and/or lead project teams for the design, development, testing, and implementation of automated systems, process reengineering, and new requirements.
- Understand and apply Utility Tariffs, Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) Regulations, Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) Protocols, and TX Set Transactions.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation for all tasks.
- Collaborate with Transmission and Distribution Engineers to set up complex billing scenarios based on approved tariffs.
- Ability to support Emergency Operating Plan.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Area of concentration in business administration or other related business major preferred.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum 5 years of equivalent billing work-related experience.
- Extensive Knowledge of transactional processing of billing, interval data, and internal controls; guidelines, practices and procedures related to Electric Deregulation transaction processing.
- Experience working with SAP.
- Strong Excel skills a plus
- Understanding of the Texas deregulated market workflow and protocols.
