CenterPoint Energy is looking for a LCL66 Lineman to join our Distribution Operations and Service Delivery Team, located in Houston, TX.
You will have the ability to: Electric Operations skilled work. A successful candidate will be required to perform general labor and enhance current electric line work skills through training by Head Journeymen and Management. The labor is performed to assist in the construction and maintenance of high voltage electrical systems. Will sometimes require working outside in harsh weather conditions and extended hours.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Assist in the construction, maintenance, relocation, diagnosis of problems and repair of primary and/or secondary voltage electrical facilities in a safe, efficient, and focused manner.
- Work as directed to assist in the restoration of power in the event of a storm.
- Maintain prompt attendance and perform duties on a variety of shifts and schedules. Must be able to respond 24/7 in emergency situations.
- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Interpret blueprints, work orders, manuals, and other technical material related to the performance of the job.
Your background includes:
- High school education or equivalent knowledge of English grammar and mathematics required.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience as a journeyman lineman in the construction and maintenance of high voltage electrical systems. Must be able to show proof of journeyman certification.
