What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Office Assistant position at Centerra Co-op?
Position Objective: The Office Support will provide clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate information provided by the Cooperative to our customers.
Occupation Specific Tasks:
All Duties required will be performed for Feed production and sales as well as Birdseed production and sales.
- Answer phones and take orders from customers per guidelines.
- Primary responsibility is greet customers and handle walk in business.
- Required to operate computer, utilizing basic computer software.
- Perform a variety of basic office tasks, including filing and organizing information, including billing and receiving documents.
- Invoicing, receiving, inventory, PO's and all other data entry
- Review data paying attention to details.
- Provide outstanding customer service in person, via phone, email, or mail.
- Maintain work area in neat, clean and organized manner, following SOP's, GMP's and regulatory requirements.
- Become knowledgeable on all ingredients and products sold.
- Handle receiving paperwork with attention to pricing.
- Collaborate with Logistics Coordinator on all outbound orders leaving the Sterling location.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
Skills: Excellent verbal and listening skills, strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to follow-up with customers and team.
