Summary
Provides day-to-day onsite or remote administrative support for software users. Provides technical support to operational computers (servers and workstations) in all Centerspace locations. Provides help desk support for 450-500 workstations. Assists with technical support problems/issues by spotting recurring issues and devising a solution to prevent them. Assists with the administration of the Company’s network security (i.e. firewalls, server and workstation antivirus/anti-spyware applications, etc.).
Expectations
Follows established guidelines and procedures. Requires supervision, but once trained should be self-directed in daily activities. Identifies problems, finds efficiency, designs processes and devises solutions within area of focus and that comply with governing agencies, laws and company policy. Must be detail-oriented and thorough. Able to prioritize and set deadlines.

Some evenings, nights, and/or weekends may be required for certain emergencies, upgrades, and repairs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Setup and configure end user computer equipment laptop and desktop configurations.
- Provision system updates, third party applications and installs and configurations.
- Be proficient in the use of docking stations and the implementation and necessary accessories (cabling) and additional driver sets needed for end user experience.
- Self-motivated to create and track computer shipments and creatin an install schedule to coincide with office staff.
- Designs, specifies, configures, installs, and maintains local area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services such as personal computers, system software, software applications, printers, routers, bridge, switches, modems, cabling, and Internet service providers.
- Provide on-site support for corporate offices, including CEO, CFO, COO and senior leadership teams.
- Repairs, maintains, troubleshoots, and installs Company computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
- Install and configure Mobile Device Management (MDM) software on corporate devices as needed or requested.
- Push needed applications to remote devices through MDM software compromising smart phones and Tablets
- Employee Security Training to help train employees in security awareness procedures.
- Provides support to users on various issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems and concerns of users. Answers inquiries in person and via telephone, e-mail and voice mail concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
- Confers with other departments to maximize the value of the data and determine the impact of changes on other systems. Maintains policies, procedures and standards relating to application management.
- Coordinates third-party maintenance for network hardware, software, and telecommunications services under the direction of the Vice President of Information Technology.
- Installs, upgrades and configures network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software and file services.
- Performs and documents annual cleaning and inspection of all hardware including, workstations, printers and any other peripheral hardware devices.
- Troubleshoot problems with applications, local networks, mail services, web services, etc.
- Maintains a broad knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and hardware requirements.
- Sets up hardware for employees, maintains rotation and replacement of computer workstations.
- Critical job functions. Back up for this position is provided by other IT staff, and/or contractors from an outside service (if needed).

- Education and/or Experience – bachelor’s degree in a Computer Related Field preferred. 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Entry-level technology certification preferred (Microsoft Certified Professional or other PC related certification).
- Driving Requirements – Valid Driver’s License is required.
- Work Environment – While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts or the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
- Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as professional journals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

- Computer Skills – A working knowledge of management information systems is required. To perform this job successfully, an individual should be familiar with standard business and office software packages (Microsoft 365 Office applications: Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 and 10. Working knowledge of web application security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
