JOB DESCRIPTION : SUMMARY OF POSITION
This is a remote position on a 24 / 7 / 365 mental health crisis / suicide prevention focused team. This position will support engagement post-crisis by providing telephonic follow-up to individuals identified as moderate to high risk for suicide that utilize 988 services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide individuals identified as moderate to high risk for suicide a follow-up call within 24 hours of initial call
- Provide brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, crisis intervention and service linkages to each individual enrolled in the program
- Develop / Update safety plans during each contact
- Document and track how many individuals are connected to needed resources
- Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation.
- Actively participates in ongoing supervision, training and team meetings.
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level
Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist.
Years of Experience
One year of related crisis experience is preferred.
