Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Centerville Care and Rehab Center. As a Weekend Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications accurately and safely to residents within the required time frame per physician order.
- Participate in resident care planning and shift records, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
- Provide treatments as necessary to residents within the required time frame per physician order.
- Maintain records reflecting resident conditions, medication, and treatments.
- Assist in feeding residents and daily cares as needed.
- Supervise, assign duties, and provide leadership to all nursing staff.
- Observe, record, and report resident symptoms, reactions, and changes, and document accordingly.
- Handle and assist in the admission, discharge, and transfer of residents during their stay at the facility.
- Answer questions from residents, families/representatives, and other department staff.
- Adhere to established standards of practice, scope of practice, federal and state regulations, and facility policy and procedures.
