Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will assess and treat patients with a range of conditions, including stroke, arthritis, and other disabilities that affect daily living activities.
You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
This is a per diem opportunity, and we offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' daily living and work-related skills, and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives.
- Administer and interpret diagnostic and prognostic tests of function to patients in their homes or other settings.
- Confer with the patient's physician and other healthcare team members to develop/review the Plan of Care Treatment.
- Provide therapeutic treatment and instruction to patients in accordance with physician orders.
- Review/expand the retraining programs in a manner consistent with the behavioral goals of each patient.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- A minimum of six months of occupational therapy experience preferred.
- Home Health experience a plus.
- Current and unrestricted OT licensure.
- Current CPR certification.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
