The Contract Administrator is responsible for knowing and understanding the terms and conditions of the contracts being executed by their Contract Portfolio Managers for the purpose of administering, monitoring, and optimizing the agreements throughout the contract's life cycle. This position is also responsible for analyzing data to identify opportunities and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure CentraCare maintains compliance on all agreements including IDN, GPO, Local, and other types of contracts, and captures all possible rebates and earned admin fees.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as a partner and subject matter expert (SME) in contract performance to assigned service lines, by retrieving and evaluating vendor spend, forecasting, and assisting in data-driven decision making.
- Drive enterprise-wide product, equipment, and service changes and serve as an internal advocate for product/equipment/service standardization initiatives and new product introductions by managing traditional barriers to improvement and analyzing to identify problems.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support standardization and coordination of strategic sourcing activities. Analyze patient care and supply chain tools, technology, and equipment to ensure care is aligned to overall CentraCare strategy as well as federal laws.
- Manage contractually required administrative fees and incentive rebate payments, including but not limited to calculating and processing GPO administrative fee and incentive rebate reports and payments, calculating monthly accruals, and auditing receipt of administrative fees and incentive rebates.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual spend reports for assigned contracts as needed, including but not limited to provider scorecards and value trackers.
- Monitor and analyze contract compliance with vendor contracts and pricing processes and policies.
- Understand the impact of key financial indicators for applicable service lines. Utilize this knowledge to the benefit of CentraCare.
- Autonomously manage projects with the intent of achieving departmental and organizational objectives.
Position Details:
- Full Time | 80 hours every two weeks
- Monday - Friday (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) | No Weekends!
- Work from Home options (in office for training and occasional meetings)
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in supply chain, business management/administration, or related field required -OR-
- Minimum 3 years of contracting experience required in lieu of degree.
- Master's Degree in related field preferred.
Experience:
- Contracting experience in healthcare is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Experience and competency with Microsoft office products including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with presenting and public speaking.
- Adept at developing and executing plans.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Well organized and skilled at time management for the purposes of managing multiple priorities and deadlines while working under minimal supervision in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to form strong, trust-based relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
