The Housekeeping crew is comprised of many veterans and a few new additions. The Lead Housekeeper will work with the Supervisor to ensure that the highest possible standards are maintained in the Housekeeping Department at the Rice Memorial Hospital. This will be accomplished by utilization of a scheduled preventive care program as instructed by the Housekeeping Supervisor. This position must be capable of performing all duties as a Housekeeper and they must be able to coordinate all staff scheduling as well as will serve as backup Supervisor in the Supervisor's absence.
Schedule:
- Part Time | 16 hours every two weeks
- Every other Weekend (7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) | Holiday rotation
Pay & Benefits:
- Starting pay begins at $18.95 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $18.95 - $24.42 per hour

- This is a Union position, and you will be required to join the AFSCME 3296 Union within 30 days from start.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred, must be able to read and write English.
- Must have basic math knowledge and be able to follow instructions.
- Knowledgeable about housekeeping procedures/techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Supervisor, PM Staff and Departments.
- Previous hospital housekeeping and supervising experience preferred.
