**Job Summary**
In this role, you will provide interpreter services to patients with limited English proficiency, enabling them to communicate effectively with our healthcare providers. You will also provide technical and clerical support as needed.
**Responsibilities**
As a Medical Interpreter, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality interpretation services to patients in clinical settings
- Ensuring accuracy and cultural sensitivity in all interactions
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of oral proficiency testing in English and Spanish through the American Council on Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) with a score of 3.5 /Advanced-Mid Level
- CPR certification within 60 days of hire
- Registration in the State of MN as an interpreter within 90 days of hire
- Completion of 40-hour interpreter training course through Bridging the Gap or TCI within one year of hire
