Job Description:
PURPOSE
The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting cycle counts, consolidating locations, and ensuring synchronization between the Inventory Management System (IMS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS). This position requires strong attention to detail, advanced knowledge of warehouse management systems, and effective communication skills to collaborate with the Inventory Control Manager, Assistant Manager, and other departments.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform cycle counts and fulfill photo requests from Pick and Pack (PNP) and sales staff for existing inventory
• Conduct cycle counts by both location and/or SKU within the correct client
• Maintain synchronization between IMS and WMS during the cycle count process
• Complete tasks accurately within the timeframe provided by the Inventory Control Manager and Assistant Manager
• Possess advanced knowledge of all warehouse management systems to properly manage inventory
• Communicate any ongoing issues with the Inventory Control Manager and Assistant Manager regarding IT or inventory during the cycle count process, and provide potential solutions for review
• Consolidate locations to optimize warehouse space and efficiency
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Perform GAM (Goods Available for Manufacturing) refile as needed
