Position: HVAC Shop/Warehouse Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory control and organization.
- Supervise and coordinate shop staff, ensuring all materials, tools, and equipment are maintained and readily available.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, ordering materials as needed to prevent shortages and delays.
- Work closely with the installation and service teams to ensure job materials are prepared and available on time.
- Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage deliveries, shipments, and vendor relationships to streamline operations.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on company equipment and fleet vehicles.
- Implement process improvements to enhance shop and warehouse efficiency.
- Conduct salary surveys to ensure competitive compensation for staff.
- Perform fabrication and operate the plasma cutter.
- Supervise and control truck operations.
- Prepare all necessary materials and equipment ahead of time.
- Manage inventory and fleet operations efficiently.
Working Hours: Regular hours from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some overtime may be needed depending on the season.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience in HVAC warehouse, shop management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and warehouse equipment.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

- Previous experience in an HVAC-related warehouse or shop setting.
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment, parts, and materials.
