What You'll Do: (Position Summary – A Day in the Life…)
As the ProsperU Program Coordinator, you will deliver a Legendary Experience to associates, businesses, and communities by supporting the ProsperU financial wellness program. Under the direction of the ProsperU Director, you will assist in developing and delivering programming to enhance financial literacy at every stage of life. Your efforts will align with the Central Bank support pillars of Affordable Housing, Financial Wellness, and Thriving Families through Community Spirit initiatives.
Your role will include facilitating financial education workshops, classes, and events while fostering relationships with community partners to promote financial wellness and affordable housing initiatives. You will contribute to coordinating neighborhood and small business development activities through credit counseling, financial education, and related programming.

Location:
The primary location for this position is Lawrence, KS. There may be opportunities expand work location reporting once acclimated to the role.
How You'll Contribute to the Team
Community Partnership & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain purposeful relationships with community partners, including non-profits, civic organizations, and local agencies, to promote financial education initiatives.
- Assist with planning and facilitating community events and workshops that target low-to-moderate income (LMI) demographics.
- Actively engage in community outreach activities to support financial literacy and awareness of Central Bank's Community Spirit initiatives.
- Represent ProsperU at community events and gatherings to promote the program's goals.
ProsperU Program Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate and support ProsperU workshops, classes, and events by designing and delivering engaging financial wellness content for participants.
- Assist in developing tailored financial literacy materials for various audiences, including individuals, families, and small business owners.
- Facilitate financial education sessions in person or virtually to empower participants with tools to meet personal or professional financial goals.
- Provide basic mentorship and credit counseling, referring clients to appropriate resources when necessary.
Operational Collaboration
- Partner with internal Central Bank teams to align and support financial literacy efforts alongside stand-alone programs such as Dollar Bill Kids Club, Bank@Work, and other outreach initiatives.
- Support business line partners by helping coordinate programming logistics, ensuring consistent delivery across various formats (in-person, virtual, etc.).
- Track participation, collect data, and support reporting efforts to monitor the program's impact and effectiveness.

Requirements:You've Got This…
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education to support financial literacy expertise.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the financial services industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills, with the confidence and ability to effectively speak to and engage large groups of people.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and program participants.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Canva is a plus.
- Spanish bilingual communication skills are a plus, helping to expand outreach and engagement within diverse communities.
- Highly organized with a proven ability to curate content and coordinate events.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track, monitor, and analyze data to evaluate program impact.
