Do you like building relationships and helping others? The Central Bank Business Banking Team is hiring a Business Development and Merchants Specialist. We are looking for someone who can deliver exceptional customer experiences every day.
In this role, you will support the bank’s business customers through merchant card processing and sales. You will be responsible for onboarding and integrating new merchants by providing high quality support in sales and operations. This will include the development and maintenance of new and existing merchants through high quality onboarding, training, technical support, servicing, and general merchant support.
You will be responsible for meeting sales goals through following up with referrals, calling potential customers, working on sales campaigns, and strategic partnerships. You will prepare and present customer proposals and pricing recommendations.
Your responsibilities will also include installing and supporting merchant processing software and equipment, ensuring customer needs are solved through service recommendations. You will run and analyze reports, documentation, and statements to ensure compliance.

To be successful, you will need to have strong customer relations skills and the ability to work and communicate well with others in a positive manner. In this role, attention to detail is key. We are looking for someone that has good judgment and confidentiality skills. We need someone who has good attendance and punctuality, with flexibility to meet business needs. A bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent working experience is preferred. We will provide training and mentorship to help you continually improve your skills professionally and personally.
