Dog Groomer

We are seeking a skilled Dog Groomer to join our Central Bark team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with dogs, provides top-notch grooming services, and excellent customer service.

A little bit about us:

Central Bark takes dog day care to a whole new level! It combines our industry-leading expertise with the latest dog behavior science and positive dog training principles. Dogs will enjoy a day tailored to them, with a healthy amount of play, mental and physical exercise, rest, and love they need to be happy and well-rounded. We provide enrichment daycare, boarding, grooming, training, and retail.

Duties:

• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
• Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures
• Provide excellent customer service by consulting with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
• Monitor pets for health issues and report any concerns to pet owners

Experience:

• Previous experience in pet grooming required
• Proficiency in dog handling, animal care, and restraint techniques
• Ability to lift heavy pets when necessary
• Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners
• Passion for pet care
