About The Role
We are currently seeking a Leisure Centre Manager to join our Bedford College Services department at The Bedford College Group.

The purpose of BCS is to provide a suite of commercial services to the staff and students of The Bedford College Group and to the wider community. BCS will bid for external contracts to provide those services, exploiting its management skills and capacity. About The Role

- Centre Management - Ensure effective and safe operation of the Centre, develop its products and services, and manage staff and contractors.
- Customer Service and Income - Implement customer service practices, develop income-generating activities, and manage budgets and rotas.
- Administration and Compliance - Maintain administration systems, ensure compliance with legislation, and manage payroll and invoicing.
- Collaboration and Reporting - Liaise with Bedford College, manage staff targets, attend meetings, and provide reports.
- Statutory Duties - Promote safeguarding, equality and diversity, follow health and safety requirements, and engage in training and development.
- Qualifications and Experience - Level 3 qualification in Sports/Leisure management, 3 years managing a leisure facility, knowledge of Front of House systems, and First Aid qualification.
- Customer Focus - Experience exceeding customer expectations, developing profitable products, producing project proposals, and understanding diverse customer needs.
- Skills and Abilities - Excellent IT skills, communication, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, multitasking, and project management.
- Professional Conduct - Represent BCS Ltd professionally, creative and innovative outlook, flexible work approach, and willingness to update skills.
- Safeguarding and Transport - Promote safeguarding, maintain appropriate relationships, willingness to work at all locations, and awareness of health and safety requirements.
