POSITION:
Central Berkshire Technology Data Specialist
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with PowerSchool Student Information System and Clever SSO/Sync preferred.
- Detail oriented self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Technical background with general software and hardware troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Associates Degree Desirable.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Upkeep and maintenance of the district’s student information system, PowerSchool, including management of the data interchanges between the student information system and other connected applications.
- Complete state reporting requirements accurately and on-time via SIF (SIMS, EPIMS, SCS, SSDR, etc.).
- Provide support to end users, including administrators, administrative assistants, and teachers, as it relates to the student information system or connected applications.
- Complete technology-related onboarding and offboarding procedures for staff and students, including creation or suspension of user accounts, RFID access, phone voicemail setup, membership in distribution and security groups, etc.
- Assist in the maintenance of the district’s adopted website platform.
- Manage the district’s inventory of IT assets.
- Troubleshoot, support, and repair general technology hardware and software issues as needed, assisting the technology department during peak workloads or technician absences.
START DATE: April 21, 2025
REPORTS TO: Director of Technology
SALARY: $50,000-$55,000 depending on experience
