What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Coordinator position at Central Body and Paint?
Job Summary
Central Body and Paint is seeking a Parts Technician to join our Collision Center. We are looking for an individual that is willing to continuously learn and improve his or her performance with tools we provide that will reflect in compensation. Experience is a plus but not necessary if the right candidate with the right qualities are meet. The position is full time Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm. The job duties of a Parts Technician are but not limited too;
- Maintaining the parts/materials storage area in order
- Maintaining the inventory according to set standards
- Ordering parts from selected vendors
- Mirror matching new parts for correctness and damages
- Distribution of parts to technicians when requested for repairs
- Make parts returns when necessary
- Data entry into management system with prices and notes
- Pull schematics from various dealers to identify parts to order
- Sustain invoices from dealer to accounting office with efficiency
