Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives during moments of crisis?
Central Connection, a Division of Central Clinic Behavioral Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate clinicians to join our team and help support our 24/7 hotline in an office setting either M-F working hours, and/or on a PRN basis.
In this role you will be the first line of support for individuals in Hamilton County facing mental health and substance use challenges. You'll provide vital after-hours assistance, de-escalate crisis situations, and help guide people toward the services they need for a better tomorrow.
What You'll Do:
- Be the Lifeline: Manage and screen crisis calls with care, offering compassionate support to those experience mental health or substance use crisis.
- Make Critical Decisions: Review clinical information to determine the right level of care for admissions to the spectrum of services in Hamilton county, including working with hospitals, case managers, and other community partners.
- Collaborate & Support: Provide invaluable after-hours assistance for UC Mobile Crisis, PES, and additonal providers in our county for both adults and children.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with Impact: You have a background supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Your knowledge of community mental health services is a huge asset, and familiarity with chemical dependency adds even more value.
- Crisis skills: You excel at crisis de-escalation and have a talent for keeping calm under pressure.
- Autonomy & Reliability: You are a self-starter who takes pride in delivering excellent care and showing up when you're needed.
