Construction Superintendent for Single Family Tract Homes

S & S Homes is looking for a Construction Superintendent to oversee all construction in their assigned community, including the construction of homes, amenities, and community infrastructure.

The right person will have excellent organizational abilities, and strong leadership and supervisory skills. This full-time position requires excellent communication skills along with an In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines. The pay scale will be based on knowledge and experience.

Essential Duties

• Directly coordinate and manage all construction related activities within assigned community to ensure their completion per schedule and budget.
• Review all house plans, site plans and plot maps, making improvement recommendations relative to future product design, building materials and construction methods.
• Maintain a personal appearance, at all times, that would be characterized as clean and professional, reflecting both the management responsibility associated with this Position and the need to sustain the confidence and trust of home buyers.
• Maintain a site environment that is positive, professional and a desirable workplace.
• Participate in review process with the Division President for all subordinate employees.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
• Able to read blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license, proof of current auto insurance, and have reliable transportation to worksite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
