Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a quality control (QC) system that covers all construction operations, both onsite and offsite, aligned with the construction sequence.
- Ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained in all project phases and components.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer, maintaining open and effective communication.
- Maintain a constant physical presence on the construction site to oversee all activities and ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards.
- Manage onsite staff, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring all team members adhere to project plans and specifications.
- Handle the coordination of materials, labor, and equipment as per the project timeline and budget.
- Be prepared for removal by the Contracting Officer for non-compliance with quality requirements, emphasizing the importance of adherence to all stipulated quality controls.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction management processes, materials, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams including contractors, subcontractors, and regulatory officials.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications in project management and quality control are advantageous.
