We are looking for a Project Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction site, ensuring that employees, equipment, and subcontractors adhere to project specifications and safety standards. Your prior experience in Public Works projects and Federal Programs will play a crucial role in qualifying for this position.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates construction activities
- Directs subcontractor field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications in coordination with the Associate Project Manager
- Superintendent will collaborate with the Management team developing the schedule and the scope of work for each subcontractor.
- Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems
- Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process
- Responsible for the Quality Control Inspections in his/her area and cooperate with the Quality Department with Quality Assurance Inspections
- Ensures that all resources assigned are maintained, protected, secured and used at optimum efficiency
- Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately
- Ensures all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy
- Maintains an organized job site
- Responsible of daily activities reports and tracking materials
Requirements
- Trade or Technical School or bachelor’s degree required.
- Five to seven years’ experience in a similar construction role, including supervisory duties.
- General Contractor B-License preferred
- Understanding of construction techniques and methods of construction, including tool and material usage and types of construction (e.g., wood framing, panelized, concrete tilt-up, pre-engineered metal building (PEMB), cold storage and freezer facilities, and material handling equipment).
- Experience with project management and other software programs, including CPM Scheduling, Microsoft Office Suite of tools, Bluebeam and Bluebeam Revu, Procore, Primavera 6, and Abode/Corel tools. Familiar with DOT standards
- Analyzes problems and makes sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications, and costs
- Valid drivers’ license with a driving record acceptable to the Company’s insurance carrier.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
