[1] Central Coast Pet Emergency Hospital located in Arroyo Grande, CA is seeking experienced Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants to join our team either part-time or full-time.
Our hospital is San Luis Obispo County's finest 24/7 Emergency Hospital and is equipped to provide the best intensive, emergent, and urgent care for our patients when their primary care veterinarian is not available.

About You:
You have a minimum of 2 years' experience as an RVT or Veterinary Assistant, preferably in emergency or specialty services, along with a strong foundational understanding of veterinary technology. We are seeking a self-starter who can jump right in to a busy emergency caseload without the need for extensive training. You can easily perform the responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):
o Venipuncture
o Placing IV Catheters
o Drug Calculations
o Administration of Medications (IV or other methods including CRIs)
o Monitoring Anesthetic Procedures
o Taking Vitals
o Gathering Medical History
o Providing Client Education
Available Schedules:
Part-time days: Sunday and Monday
Part-time days: Saturday and Sunday
Full-time swing shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Compensation: Based on background, knowledge, and skillset
RVT: $27 - $35/ hour and $2,000 sign on bonus for full-time
Non-Credentialed Technician/Veterinary Assistant: $20 - $27/ hour
