Aquatics and Sports Program Coordinator
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Aquatics & Sports Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aquatic and sports programs, ensuring safe, engaging, and well-maintained facilities. This role includes scheduling and supervising staff, managing program budgets, maintaining inventory, and overseeing pool maintenance and sports programming. The Coordinator actively provides swimming instruction, lifeguarding, and coaching as needed.
Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and supervising staff, conducting safety checks, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with YMCA policies and safety regulations. The role also involves promoting programs, coordinating registration, and developing seasonal updates. Facility oversight includes monitoring pool chemistry, cleanliness, and overall safety. The Coordinator engages with the community to enhance participation and program impact.
This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding. The Coordinator must be an enthusiastic team player who upholds the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for staff, participants, and families.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
