Job Description
Central Colorado Title & Escrow is seeking an experienced Escrow Assistant to join our team part time. This position will be responsible for assisting the Escrow Officer in a variety of tasks such as preparing documents, maintaining files, and other tasks as needed. This position will work directly with the Escrow Officer to oversee administrative activities to close real estate transactions.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and assist customers, agents, lenders, etc., with questions that may arise with their real estate transaction
- Answer general questions for borrowers and escrow staff
- Review contract documents for accuracy and completeness
- Process checks for escrow funds
- Send documents and loan packages to the appropriate parties
- Prepare and post closed escrow paperwork to support the processing of the loan
- Assist Loan Officer with any other tasks assigned by the Loan Officer
- Work closely with Escrow Officer to ensure that all procedures are followed in the handling of files
- Request third party items for all real estate transactions including but not limited to: tax certificates, HOA paperwork, and other utility invoices
- Maintain a positive attitude, work well with others, and work as part of a team to help achieve a common goal
Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
