Primary duties include working on developing Community Education classes by making facility arrangements, completing instructor / class schedule, developing brochures and marketing, instructor compensation, reporting on classes and ordering class supplies. Must acquire knowledge and be willing to support all classes and students with registrations, course delivery options and student learning needs.Essential Functions Essential Functions Recruits, hires, trains, directs, supervises, and evaluates the performance of approximately 30 community education adjunct instructional staff and contractors related to community education. Manages personnel on-site and at-a-distance.Essential Functions Develops, supervises and implements budgetary expenditures related to community education and marketing / instructional materials. Negotiates with presenters, contractors and vendors.Establishes student marketing databases. Maintains relationships with local / regional newspapers, radio and television media contacts.Essential Functions Assists performing community outreach through presentations and meetings with civic organizations. Develops and conducts needs assessments to identify educational needs of individuals, groups, organizations and communities in the assigned geographic region. Assists in the registration process for Community Education Classes.Essential Functions Provides administrative direction for Community Education. Represents the community education program at local, regional and State meetings. Coordinates with other Community Education Coordinators.Essential Functions Assists with short- and long-term departmental planning, budget preparation, recommendations for staffing / instructional needs and suggestions for community education.Essential Functions Maintains comprehensive understanding of CCC administrative, academic, and student procedures and policies. Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the field.
