What are the responsibilities and job description for the K- 4 School Counselor - Long Term Sub, CES position at Central Elementary School?
Central Elementary School is seeking a dynamic, solution-focused professional to join our educational community as School Counselor. This individual will support the academic and social/emotional development of students in grades K-4 through individual, small group, and classroom counseling lessons. In addition, this individual will be able to effectively work as a member of a team, serve as a member of our Educational Support Team, be responsible for the development and monitoring of 504 plans, offer consultation to teachers, and build strong relationships with families and community partners.
Experience with Second Step, Trauma Informed Practices, Responsive Classroom and Restorative Practices is desired.
A Vermont educator’s license Level I or Level II with a guidance endorsement is required.
