What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduler position at Central Emergency Medical Services Llc?
Definition:
Tracks and fills open shifts in the most economical and efficient way available via the bid system, phone calls and pages. Reviews employee availability for tracking of PTO and other time off requests. Assist with the
processing of timecards for payroll purposes. Assists with and completes projects for administrative personnel as assigned. Other duties as assigned.

Specific Duties:

Implement corporate and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with time clock management.
- Review records and reports pertaining to activities such as overtime, payroll, and inventory to verify details, monitor appropriate levels, and evaluate changes.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned.
- Assures all company goals, objectives and procedures are followed daily.
- Consults with communications, supervisors and other personnel to resolve problems, such as shift assignments, controlling overtime and arranging coverage of vehicles.
- Plans, prepares, and revises work schedules according to budget allotments, customer needs, problems, workloads, and statistical forecasts.
- Displays a positive mental attitude toward the position held, Central EMS and its employees, clients, partners or affiliates.
- Attends all company trainings and meeting as set by Central EMS and its sponsoring hospital.
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
- Complete work schedules, manage calendars, and arrange appointments. Assists with and completes projects as assigned by management.
- Verifies timecards for accuracy and attendance.
- Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages.
- Implement corporate or departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management.

Minimum Requirements:
Must have excellent administrative skills and be very detailed orientated. Must be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects successfully.
Must be punctual and able to meet deadlines as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
The ability to reach, push and pull.
The ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
The ability to use a computer keyboard and write for extended periods of time. The ability to lift and maneuver 35 pounds without difficulty.
The ability to complete all job duties.
