Position Overview
CFP is seeking a passionate Elementary School Assistant Principal to support the Assistant Director in managing academic programs, faculty development, and student engagement. The successful candidate will help ensure that the school's vision and mission are met in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Academic Leadership: Assist in developing and implementing curriculum to support early literacy and numeracy.
- Student Support: Foster a safe, supportive environment that promotes social-emotional learning and addresses individual student needs.
- Operational Management: Manage day-to-day school operations, including discipline and ensuring compliance with policies.
- Data-Driven Instruction: Monitor student progress using data to guide instructional strategies and interventions.
- Staff Development: Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers, encouraging professional growth.
- Parental & Community Engagement: Build relationships with parents and guardians to support student success.
- Safety & Compliance: Oversee the safety of staff and students, ensuring adherence to policies and regulations.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Collaborate with school leadership to support school-wide goals and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in teaching or educational leadership (elementary preferred).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Dedication to student success and professional growth.
- Knowledge of early childhood education and best practices in curriculum design.
