Our Garden Segment is hiring an Associate Business Development Manager on our Home Depot Business Development Team. This position is based in Atlanta, GA. This role will lead and execute business development initiatives supporting multiple categories to achieve annual net sales and financial targets, collaborate with sales managers, cross functional partners, and key customers to identify and deliver compelling and actionable solutions by mining data, producing applicable reporting, analyzing business trends, industry developments, and relevant insights.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage business development strategies, drive action through data
- Communicate results and offer actionable insights to deliver on sales objectives
- Responsible for creating and producing data reporting designed to drive critical business decisions
- Identify shifts in business and offer solutions through data analytics and use analytics to highlight sales growth opportunities and supply chain optimization
- Collaborate with cross functional team members including forecasting and sales operation
- Must be very detail-oriented, analytical, self-motivated, and possess high drive and high initiative
- Able to analyze large sets of data from multiple sources to drive sales, strong math skills, as well as learning new skills as needed; critical thinking skills, ability to “connect the dots”
- Experience working with all levels of management and personnel both internally and externally; able to cultivate business relationships to help drive business and across multiple cross functional teams
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a high level of expertise in presenting clear concise results that drive action, to numerous levels of management and customers
- Ability to set and manage multiple priorities, use good judgment, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel domestically (10%), if needed
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing or similar field of study
- 3 years business experience in sales analytics, category management or related CPG experience; general knowledge of consumer products or retail industry
- Home Depot vendor experience with proficiency in Home Depot.com
- Successful experience in an entrepreneurial environment is a plus
