What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Intern position at Central Garden & Pet?
Central Specialty Pet, a division of Central Garden & Pet, is looking for qualified summer interns to join our Marketing team! Paid 10 week Summer 2024 Marketing Internship positions will reside in the Aquatics, Small Animal, Pet Bird and Wild Bird business segments at our Franklin, WI location. Our Marketing Summer Internships are designed to provide you with an outstanding learning experience and a realistic immersion of working full time at our company.
What can you expect to get out of this internship?
o You will be entrusted with challenging business projects.
o You will have the opportunity to own specific real-world projects that will have a direct impact on business results.
o You will also have the opportunity to work with passionate people and receive continuous coaching and mentoring from your manager and colleagues.
o Your will have the opportunity to work on marketing products/brands that are fun and exciting.
These are some example projects you may work on as a Summer Intern:
o Co-lead development of new product concepts.
o Evaluate brand strategy for a targeted market.
o Perform market & brand analysis to identify business opportunities.
o Support design & execution of digital marketing and /or social campaigns.
What are we looking for in you?
o Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program from an accredited college or university with an anticipated graduation date of 2024/2025.
o Prefer business or marketing focus.
o Genuine passion for marketing is required.
o Have and maintain high academic standards with your education institution.
o Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Demonstrate excellent team leadership capabilities.
o Possess strengths with strategic and analytical thinking.
o Show evidence of passion, self-starting capabilities, and achievements in academic or non-academic activities.
