Triple Crown Quality Control
Pennington Seed/Central Garden & Pet Company is a leader in the lawn care industry. We seek a highly motivated, conscientious, and trustworthy individual to join our team as a Triple Crown Quality Control Coater Operator in Greenfield, Missouri.
Shift Details:
- 2nd Shift 4:00 pm – 12:30 am
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and record temperatures of dryers and seed through all stages of coating process.
- Read and record humidity levels and air temperature of dryers.
- Perform de-coating and durability tests every 2 hours.
- Read and record moisture of coated seed every 15 minutes
- Report any out of limits reading to the coater operator.
- Retain and file all seed samples.
- Keep work area clean at all times.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist coater operators as needed between tests and during down time.
- Help operators as requested in coordinating with production and bagging lines.
- Cross training on coater operation is valuable to help operators as needed.
Qualifications:
- Good math skills are needed
- Organizational skills are helpful.
- Must be able to clearly communicate with others.
- Must be able to write clearly so test results can be understood easily.
