Central Heating & Plumbing Co. Inc. family owned for over 55 plus years is looking for an energetic individual to join our service team in Mercer County. Individual must have basic computer skills, strong written and verbal communication skills. Background in HVAC or plumbing experience industry not required. No shift or after hours work required. NO cold calling interactions with customers. This position provides telephone customer support during business hours. A key component is to provide clean and concise communications with department managers, employees and customers, including keeping customers apprised as to company schedule. No shift or after hours work required. E.O.E.
Qualifications
- Advanced customer service skills via phone and email
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized with required assignments
- Geographical knowledge of Mercer County
- Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required
- Must have positive attitude
- Must be computer literate
- Must possess excellent telephone etiquette
- Must have ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Must have good interactive customer service skills
- Must remain calm and patient under pressure
- Must be able to follow guidelines and procedures
- Must be able to adhere to punctual and reliable attendance
- Must be able to Pass Background Check/Drug and Alcohol screening/Physical
- Customer service telephone support including incoming and outgoing calls and follow up appointments/scheduling
- In the absence of the Dispatcher, Schedule and coordinate all service calls as calls are received
- Adjust schedules as needed for weather changes, emergency calls, follow up appointments, etc.
- Assist with maintenance agreement scheduling
