Central Jersey Equipment is seeking a Service Manager to lead our equipment repair shop. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the service department to ensure smooth workflow and high customer satisfaction.
- Lead and support a team of service technicians and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative and efficient environment.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service efficiency and department accountability.
- Communicate effectively with both customers and team members to ensure timely updates and clear expectations.
- Ensure all service reports, records, and documentation are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Service Department Management with proven leadership capabilities.
- Basic understanding of financial principles as they relate to service operations and department performance.
- Previous experience with turf/ag equipment is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, internet applications, and general computer operations.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
