New Position!
Central Kansas Mental Health Center is expanding our Public Education team and looking for an Outreach and Education Specialist.
CKMHC serves 5 counties: Saline, Dickinson, Ellsworth, Lincoln, and Ottawa. This position is responsible for building, developing, and strengthening community relationships and engagement to achieve positive outcomes, while also establishing strong connections with stakeholders. This position will also help facilitate and coordinate community and staff trainings, speaker engagements, and provide various educational information when requested. The ideal candidate will interact with people of various backgrounds, community members, and individuals served in an outgoing and charismatic manner to increase understanding and awareness of behavioral health services. Requirements for this position are a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Social work or related field- relevant work experience could be considered, ability to effectively relate to employees and the public, work independently and with a team, self-starter, excellent writing skills, positive attitude and professional image, excellent judgement skills, and we prefer 3 years of relevant experience.
This is a full time benefit eligible position.
