Summary
We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join our team at the Central Louisiana Area Health Education Center. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating health education programs and initiatives that enhance community access to quality healthcare. Your efforts will directly contribute to our mission of fostering a healthier future for the communities we serve.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement health education programs and community outreach initiatives.
- Develop partnerships with local organizations to enhance program effectiveness.
- Assist in grant proposal writing and reporting to secure funding for programs.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Provide support and guidance to students participating in job shadowing opportunities.
- Evaluate program outcomes and make recommendations for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for partners and program educators on program-related topics.
- Create and post social media content to CLAHEC platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in education, healthcare, or marketing
- Two to five years experience in managing multiple projects or eight to ten years of employment experience in managing multiple projects in a healthcare or education setting
- Experience working with students or in educational settings is essential.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with grant writing processes is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in team collaboration.
- Social media content creation is a plus.
