Title: Metal Fabrication Instructor
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Faculty Unit. Pay range is mid-40s to low 50s range.
Responsibilities: Central Maine Community College seeks an instructor with metal fabrication experience to teach in the Metal Fabrication Program. This full-time, in person, faculty position begins teaching responsibilities in the Fall 2025 semester and will be expected to teach a combination of day, evening and online classes. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible to teach 25 credit hours per semester in metal fabrication / 3D modeling courses.
In addition to instruction, position responsibilities include student advising, participation in departmental meetings, curriculum development, assessment and other related duties.
Minimum Qualifications
Consideration will begin April 21, 2025 and continue until the position is filled. Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree
- 3-5 years in the metal fabrication field
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5-7 years’ experience in welding (mig/tig), metal forming, metal cutting, metal coatings, metallurgy, blueprint reading and/or flat pattern designing using Solid works.
