Title: Accounting and Business Instructor
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Faculty Unit. Pay range is low 50s, based on credentials.
Responsibilities: Central Maine Community College seeks an Accounting and Business Instructor for our Business Administration and Management Department. This is a full-time, in person (Must live in Maine during the school year) faculty position primarily responsible to teach 15 credit hours per semester and begins teaching responsibilities in the Fall semester. Courses are delivered in-person during the day and evening, online, hybrid, or a combination. In addition to instruction, position responsibilities include student advising, curriculum development, assessment and other related duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or CPA, or CMA
- Experience teaching entry level accounting
- 2 years of working business experience
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level
