Title: Resident Director
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Administrators Unit, Level I. This position is budgeted at $44,213.33 annually with on-campus housing and meal plan provided.
Responsibilities: The Resident Director reports to the Assistant Director of Residence Life and assists with overall supervision and management of two resident halls and two apartment buildings located on campus and one off-campus residence hall located approximately two miles from the college. The successful candidate will: supervise student resident assistants; develop and deliver activities/programs to the student body; serve as a resource and advocate for housing students; perform administrative functions related to the management of housing records; and assist with other duties as assigned. This full-time position requires on-campus residency and the ability to work a flexible schedule including most evenings and weekends. Full benefit package includes room and board.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or two years of post-secondary education
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelors Degree
- Background in student development
- Experience working with traditionally aged student population
