HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Program Coordinators provide oversight, direction, and leadership to a specific program within the Agency. The Program Coordinators time is dedicated to the coordination of a given program and providing direct service and/or case management.
Program Coordination:
- Assists in planning, preparing, and providing orientation, job shadowing and training to all new hires.
- Assist in developing and overseeing staff training plans.
- Assist with referrals and/or overflow cases, assist with screenings, review unit notes with staff who were absent.
- Meet with staff as needed to provide guidance and support.
- Be first contact for client concerns and work with providers and clients to resolve issues.
- Support Program Manager to ensure smooth operation of programs, including Reviews and Timecards.
Direct Service:
- Provide care according to program assigned (ARMHS, TCM or Peer Services). Maintain current knowledge of the mental health service system and the ability to locate information and resources for a variety of client needs with mental health, housing, medical, and social services system.
- Provide care coordinator for clients as needed.
- Establish relationship with assigned clients and their support and meet with each client as planned.
- Under the direction of the Mental Health Professional, complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
- At a minimum meet productivity standards and standards for assessment and assessment completion monthly.
