Key Responsibilities: 

 Safely and efficiently handle materials and products in a manufacturing facility or

distribution center. 

 Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers. 

 Ensure proper placement and securing of items to prevent damage during

transport. 

 Perform inventory control activities, including counting, sorting, and organizing

materials. 

 Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work

environment. 

 Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. 

 Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned area. 

 Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs. 

Experience & Preferred Qualifications: 

 Previous experience in shipping/receiving or materials handling preferred. 

 Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control. 

 Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order

pickers. 

 Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks. 

 Familiarity with manufacturing operations and order-picking processes. 

 Forklift certification is a plus. 

Requirements: 

 High school diploma or GED. 

 Minimum of 1-2 years in similar position or manufacturing environment. 

 Familiarity with tape measures and imperial measurement. 

 Meet the physical requirements of the position.  

 Background check, drug screening, and physical exam required. 

Physical and Environmental Requirements: 

 Lifting: Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted. 

 Environment: Work in a facility with loud noise, extreme temperatures, and

environmental stressors. 

 Physical Activities: Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, reach, and grasp as

needed. 

 PPE: Wear required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, gloves, and

safety toe footwear. 

 Stamina: Stand for long shifts. 

 Skills: Effective communication, basic math skills, and teamwork. 

 Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.
