Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately package finished products according to specifications and ensure they are prepared for shipment
- Inspect products for quality and compliance before packaging, reporting any defects or issues to the supervisor
- Use appropriate packing materials and techniques to protect products during transportation
- Label packages correctly and maintain accurate packing records
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized packing area
- Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and production goals
- Participate in training sessions and safety meetings as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous packing or warehouse experience is a plus
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors or defects
- Knowledge of packaging materials and techniques is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Must be able to bend, reach, and perform physical labor as necessary
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures
