The Vice President, Finance & Treasury, is a pivotal leadership role responsible for managing Central Moloney’s North American treasury, cash management, intercompany financial operations, and banking relationships. This role will lead efforts to optimize liquidity, standardize transfer pricing, manage intercompany loans, and repatriate cash between the US and Canadian entities. Additionally, this position oversees risk management, including corporate insurance programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee cash flow forecasting for North American operations, ensuring efficient liquidity management.
- Manage intercompany loans, including structuring, compliance, and interest calculations
- Repatriate cash from the Canadian subsidiary to the US parent in a tax-efficient manner
- Lead the transition to paperless payments and implement robust workflows for approvals
- Develop and execute transfer pricing policies in compliance with tax laws
- Collaborate with the Canadian financial leader to align treasury and intercompany processes
- Evaluate and implement banking, payment, and treasury process improvements
- Manage all aspects of corporate insurance, including property, liability, and workers' compensation coverages
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify gaps in insurance coverage and recommend mitigation strategies
- Coordinate claims management and ensure compliance with insurance policy requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- CPA, CFA, or CTP designation preferred
- 10 years of treasury, financial operations, or related experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with intercompany loans, transfer pricing, and management fees
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Experience managing corporate insurance and risk management programs
