Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Winding Technicians in preparing materials and setting up winding machines.
- Monitor winding operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
- Load materials onto winding machines and perform preliminary adjustments as directed.
- Inspect finished coils for defects and report any quality issues to the technician.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Participate in training to enhance understanding of winding processes and machinery.
- Support team members in various tasks as needed to achieve production goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with workplace policies.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual tasks.
