What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant/Toddler Teacher/Center Specialist position at Central Nebraska Community Action Partnership, Inc.?
POSITION SUMMARY: Provide effective and nurturing teacher-child interactions, plan and implement learning experiences that ensure effective curriculum implementation and use of assessment, and promote children’s progress across the standards described in the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework: Ages Birth to Five and applicable state early learning and development standards, including for children with disabilities and dual language learners. Supervise teachers and support staff as assigned, and coordinate center/classroom including daily scheduling, supplies, paperwork, and parent communications.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and utilize lesson plans
- Complete two parent/teacher conferences in the center
- Obtain and document In-kind
- Implement curriculum in accordance with guidelines/training
- Supervise classroom staff and monitor children
- Promote school readiness for children, families, and community members
- Participate in all required meetings and trainings
- Adhere to all CNCAP policies and procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
- Child Development Associate (CDA); prefer AA or BA in Early Childhood
- Valid driver's license
- Experience working with infants/toddlers

SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday: 7am - 5pm or Monday-Friday: 8am - 4pm
REPORTS TO: Area Manager/Education Coordinator
JOB STATUS: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
PAY: $22.34 - $24.00/Hour (Depending on qualifications)
