What are the responsibilities and job description for the Communications Intern position at Central Ohio Transit Authority?
SALARY: $17.50 - $20.00
LOCATION: 33 N. High St. Columbus, OH 43215
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support internal communications, interviewing employees and gathering stories for The Loop, COTA's employee intranet site;
- Attend meetings and take notes about internal/external communication;
- Support the Assistant Director of Communications on internal initiatives and events;
- Support the Director of Public and Media Relations at media events, writing news releases and helping maintain the news page on COTA.com.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Required enrollment at John Glenn College of Public Affairs college in a Bachelor's or Master's level program.
