What are the responsibilities and job description for the Computer Operations Shift Supervisor (Night shift: 2pm-11pm) position at Central Pacific Bank?
Position Function:
Supervise and oversee the workflow within the assigned shift in Computer Operations. Ensure completeness and accuracy of the processed work. Understand the operational workflow to pro-actively prevent problems, and able to troubleshoot problems to help minimize the impact to the production processing. Resolve operational problems or errors independently, and report all processing problems through email notifications, Problem Data Sheet, turnover logs, etc.
Responsible for staffing and scheduling the assigned shift to ensure that operational deadlines are met. Conduct staff meetings, and training sessions on new and updated policies and procedures. Responsible for keeping track of the staff’s performance for the annual PPR (Personal Performance Review). Handle, resolve, and escalate problems and complaints within the assigned shift. Work as a liaison between Computer Operations and the various users to assist with their request. At times, Operate and maintain all equipment under the prescribed guidelines, to ensure safety, data security and integrity. Process all user/customer data information according to procedural guidelines (files, reports, documents, etc.).
This position would be scheduled between 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Monday-Friday, but on occasion may need to work on the weekends, if needed.

Primary Accountabilities:

- Tracking - Responsible for keeping track of staffs performance for the annual PPR (Personal Performance Review). Handle, resolve, and escalate problems and complaints within the assigned shift.
- Assist users - Work as a liaison between Computer Operations and the various users to assist with their request.
- Computer Operator duties - At times, Operate and maintain all equipment under the prescribed guidelines, to ensure safety, data security and integrity. Process all user/customer data information according to procedural guidelines (files, reports, documents, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma required.
Experience:
- 4 years of experience in data processing.
- 2 years as a Team Lead -OR- 1 years of supervisory experience.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
- Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
- Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
- Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
